The Board of Directors are comprised of seven voting Director seats. The Board of Directors have five Officer roles to be filled by those seated Directors: President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Registrar and Secretary. In 2017, the Club opened up two voting At-Large Director positions.  The Board relies heavily on the Executive Directors position to be a liaison between the Board of Directors and the other non-voting Directors, like the Director of Coaching, Technical Directors or Communications Director

PRESIDENT

DAVE BENSON
 
Dave Benson originally hails from Highland, Indiana and has been involved in soccer since an early age. Starting as a player, he then worked as a referee before going off to college at DePauw University earning his MBA in Information Technology Management. DePauw is also where he met his wife Gabie. Since, he has lived in Indianapolis he has been working with LSC and GASL organizations since 2015 and holds a both US Soccer “E” License and a United Soccer Coaches "Grassroots" license. He brings a passion for the game as well as working with children. Dave feels that the key to getting kids to love the game is to emphasize fun whenever possible. Outside of soccer, Dave works as an IT Manager at OrthoIndy and enjoys spending time with his two young boys, Elliott and Josh.

TREASURER

ANGI BRANDON 
 
Since joining the Board in 2013, Angi has handled the Club's finances. She is the acting Manager of her son's team and loves watching all four of her boys play for Sporting Indiana FC. She sits on the The High School Showcase Committee as it's Treasurer. She enjoys playing in an adult soccer league with her husband. Angi, along with her husband Jim, operate Landmark DBM and reside in McCordsville.   

ACADEMY DIRECTOR

ZACH PEACH

As part of the inaugural season for Sporting Indiana FC back in 2008, Zach Peach has seen it all. After his high school years playing at Pendleton Heights he attended college at Indiana University. Sporting Indiana FC was excited that Zach came back to the Club to help develop kids at the Club he is so passionately committed. He quickly climb the ranks and now sits as Academy Director. He is also the Academy Director for Impact SC, working closely with the Director of Coaching to ensure that all players are supported at the Academy level. Zach is also an assistant coach for the Mt. Vernon High School Girls Program. When not at the fields, he enjoys spending time with his family and spoiling his puppies.

REC / SELECT DIRECTOR (GASL)

JUSTIN BASTIN
 
Justin Bastin has lived in the McCordsville area since 2008 with his wife Christy and his three daughters Kaylee, Taylor, and Jayde.  His family is very active in sports with Kaylee playing travel volleyball, Taylor playing travel soccer, and Jayde playing in GASL with Justin as her coach.  Justin has coached at the recreational level for over 5 years, and enjoys working with the younger players.  He is a proud graduate of the Kelley School of Business where he graduated with a degree in Financial Analysis, and Indiana Wesleyan University with a Master’s Degree in Managerial Accounting.  When he is not at one of his daughters’ many activities, Justin is employed at MacAllister Machinery where he is a Continuous Improvement Project Manager. 

ADULT DIRECTOR (GASL)

THAD JAYNES
 
Thad has been playing soccer since he was a young kid. Growing up in this area, he played Varsity at Mt. Vernon High School for the boys program. After school he attended Indiana University. Thad has been playing soccer throughout his adult life playing in ust about every Adult league around Indy metro. In 2017, he collaborated with Sporting Indiana FC to form the Geist Area Soccer Adult League. It has grow into one of Indy's most successful Adult soccer programs through Indiana Soccer. When not on the pitch, Thad enjoys running and spending time with his wife Heather and his spoiled dogs.

CLUB AMBASSADORS

STEVE WILLIAMS 
 
Steve joined the Club in 2007. He has dedicated the past 30 years to youth development. He was the President of Sporting Indiana FC 2012-2016. He is the current MVHS Girls Varsity Soccer Coach. Aside of coaching in over 900 games in 6 states and Canada, he has held many positions within the Indiana Soccer community. For instance he served as Chairman of soccer competition during the Indianapolis/Scarborough Peace Games in 1996 • Board of Directors CIYSL for 15 years • Director of Indiana League and is a Member of the NSCAA. Steve and his wife reside in Mt. Comfort and love spending time with their kids as well as their grandchildern.

JIM BRANDON 
 
Jim Brandon is a very active and valuable volunteer for Sporting Indiana FC.  When he is not running Landmark DBM with his wife Angi or keeping the Board on their toes, he can be found volunteering his time to the Club or watching one of his four boys that play for Sporting. He is acting Manager and a Nationally Licensed Coach for the Club. He helps organize the GASL Adult Rec League and volunteers at the High School Showcase. His wife is the acting Treasurer and Financial Director; they reside in McCordsville.
