Straightliners

STRAIGHTLINERS = PARK CARETAKERS
Straightliners are the people who paint the fields, move the goals, move the flags and help keep our Park in good shape. Work as much or as little as you want as a Straightliner, we are a team.

Straightliners Task Schedule

MONDAY TUESDAY WEDNESDAY THURSDAY FRIDAY SATURDAY SUNDAY

STRAIGHTLINER TASK LIST:

  1. Painting Fields
  2. Equipment Care
  3. Grounds Care

PAINTING FIELDS:  Simply Paint fields while your player practices or come to paint as your zen therapy. Put in your earbuds and paint away….it is very therapeutic!!
[Training required, but youll be a pro in no time.]

EQUIPMENT CARE:  For the most part this is moving goals before they mow and moving them back after they mow. This means moving the 4v4 goals to a sideline, the fixed goals off their line, move the flags off corners, the benches to outside area and make sure sandbags are on all goals. We do this to mow and then move back before games. It is always best to paint while goals are off their lines.  [Training required]

GROUNDS CARE: This basically means make sure the sticks are picked up, pick up trash or debris off fields and empty trash cans in the dumpster. [No training needed]

Our Facilities Operator, Mark Kiner, is very good, but the is only one guy with three kids and a coach, so we need your help. So we look to build a team of volunteers and we call this elite group of caretakers, the Straightliners. (We even have a secret handshake.)

Interested?  Please contact Mark Kiner right away.
