Everyone from brilliant talents to kids with disabilities can play soccer.

Parents,

As a long time soccer coach, I have seen many types of players and been able to grow with the evolution of the game. In my long journey, so far, I have concluded that anyone can play soccer. I have seen kids with no talent do fantastic things, fantastic talents do extraordinary things and extraordinary kids do the unimaginable. What do I mean by this? No child is made the same; they are all different. Kids grow at different speeds, some kids have speech challenges, sight challenges, some are advanced learners, some can’t walk, some pick up the game quickly, some have a mental disability and so on. I have witnessed some of the best soccer players in the world compete at a global level, a group of 5 year old’s learning sharks and minnows, a tournament of kids in motorized wheelchairs that have no use of their gross motor skills and through this journey on the wide spectrum of soccer I have concluded, anyone can play soccer.

As you make a choice in activities for you child, you will weigh various pros and cons. There are a few things to take into consideration. GASL is a positive activity with licensed leaders, with the mindset of “anyone can play soccer” you can rest assured we aware that no kid is the same, teaching kids to compete is crucial to growing in life, GASL and the leaders create an environment to be quality players on and off the field and finally your player will learn to be part of something bigger than themselves.  We hope you pick soccer as your child’s activity to gain many life lessons and be part of a sport that will allow anyone to be part.  Come be part of the world’s game that anyone can play.

Yours in soccer,
Coach Fuzzy
