Sporting Volunteers Needed for the Ironman

Information for the Ironman Muncie.

When: July 9, 2016
Where: Prairie Creek Reservoir  Muncie, IN
Time: 6:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.
What: Bike-Aid Station.......Bike aid station volunteers are among the most vital volunteers! While on the course the volunteers cheer on and encourage the athletes, offer them cold drinks and snacks and generally have a great time!

We need 40 volunteers and have been approved to have some 12 and 13 year old to help keep the tent supplied with drinks and snacks. ( only about 5-6)
The volunteers for the course (street) will need to be 14 and up. (40 or more)

Where to register:
1. Go to www.ironmanmuncie.com
2. Find and click on the "Volunteer" Tab
3. Click on the link for "Group Volunteering"
4. Choose your group's name from the drop down list "Sporting Indiana FC" and Bike Aid Station 1-2 (Please instruct volunteers to choose the job they are volunteering for) Double check you have the correct group selected or you’ll be giving another group more volunteers!
5. Enter the password: ironman (all one word, all lower case)
6. Complete the registration in its entirety
7. Notify and instruct all volunteers in your group to do the exact same thing you just did!

I will have a meeting with all volunteers in June to go over everything that will be happening that day.

It would be great if we could get some of the older teams to do this as a team building event.

This is a great opportunity for our club to help support other athletes while raising funds for the club.

Thanks
Heather Thompson
